Today was Flag Day, seems oddly appropriate that Kathleen and I (without realizing it was a holiday) would
ride out to Fort McHenry this morning. It was a gorgeous day, the thunderstorms on Monday really knocked the heat and humidity down from where it was. We zipped on out Fort Avenue, moving along at about 20 mph for most of it. Here we are going down the road.
Then we turned around and the awful truth hit is like a ton of a bricks. We had been riding with a tailwind, which of course then turned into a headwind going back. We suffered through, and stopped off in the Inner Harbor for a picture.
There is a post your bike with water thread at the Bike Forums, so this is my picture for that. Then it was back to the house and get ready for work time.
